Two wise men (Winnie the Poo & Piglet) once said, “How do you spell love?” asked Piglet. “You don’t spell love, you feel it,” said Poo.
Whether you’re in a relationship or single, Valentine’s Day is a day of celebrating your love. You can find love in everything, and you can share love with everyone.
Let’s take a quick trip around the globe to see how Valentine’s Day is celebrated internationally. First stop, Spain. Vday is not a traditional Spanish holiday, but in Barcelona, the Catalonia state, they celebrate their love on April 23rd, known as La Diada de Sant Jordi. To accompany this celebration, there is a famous Catalan saying, “A rose for love and a book forever”.
In Argentina, while they celebrate on the 14th as we do, their main celebration comes in July. This is a week-long celebration called “Sweetness Week” that typically ends with Friendship Day. I could definitely go for a week-long celebration of chocolates and candies!
Now back in sunny Huntington Beach, check out some fun things for you and a loved one to enjoy at Pacific City: http://www.gopacificcity.com/valentines-day/

From my heart to yours, have an amazing Valentine’s Day. XOXO.
