San Lorenzo Bikinis was founded in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

A young girl with an abundance of passion and love for the ocean moved to Hawai’i from Lima to attend college, trading one tropical home for another. After moving to the islands, she soon realized that there was a noticeable gap in the market for her favorite South American swimwear. An idea began to flourish, and soon, with help from her family back in Peru, San Lorenzo Bikinis would start production to bring the latest trends in swimwear to the islands, introducing Hawai’i to the fused vibes of sol, praia, and aloha.

As the brand has grown, we’ve advanced our sustainability efforts to include biodegradable nylon in our swimwear collections, recycle all left over fabric for unique styles, use print and dye method with reused water, along with many other efforts. Our goal is to continue these initiatives and raise awareness to protect our Mother Earth.
