Happy Earth Day! We are hosting the O. C. Social Planters who were founded on a mutual love for both plants and our community. Through social events, they bring people together for an afternoon of fun and educate then on Staghorn ferns and how repurposed items can become a beautiful addition to their homes.
The wooden crates are discarded tree crates from local construction sites that are destined for landfill and they see beauty in every one of them by repurposing them and giving them a new life. The process of restoring these wooden tree crates (24x22”) requires hours of hard work, including repairing, sanding and staining to create a beautiful, weathered finish. These crates become a beautiful new home for your Staghorn fern.
During our two-hour class, we teach you how to mount and care for your Staghorn fern. No green thumb or experience is needed to create this work of art. You will be guided hands-on through each step and will walk away with a beautiful live display-ready plant to hang on your wall.
Thank you for celebrating Earth Day with us!
The workshop will be held on the second level, Suite H210, across from H&M by the large Movie Screen
