It’s Ice Cream Season

By Leigh Williams
During my recent quest to find a recipe for the best milkshake I could make at home, I found this recipe and HIGHLY suggest trying it out. Plus, you could have the kiddos help put the ingredients together to make for some family fun!
Here’s what you need:
-       ⅔ cup whole milk
-       1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
-       4 large scoops chocolate ice cream
-       ¼ cup peanut butter
-       Spoonful of Jam (optional)
-       Whipped cream
-       Crushed nuts
-       Cherries
Here’s what you’ll do:
Combine the milk, chocolate syrup, chocolate ice cream and peanut butter, and blend until frothy. Pour into a large glass, add a spoonful of jam (if you’re using it), and then top with your whipped cream, nuts and cherries, and serve.
There you have it. Super simple, but absolutely delicious. Looking for an evening activity for the family? Make this recipe and order a milkshake from your favorite restaurant and do a blind taste test event with the family. The possibilities are endless!
